Abstract

Hyperhidrosis is defined as an excessive sweating beyond what would be expected for thermoregulation. This condition can be categorized as idiopathic or secondary to a related disease. Facial hyperhidrosis, usually idiopathic, is rare affecting up to 10% of patients with focal hyperhidrosis. Authors present a rare presentation of a primary craniofacial hyperhidrosis. The aim of this study is to evaluate the characteristics of this pathology and treatment modalities through an interesting case report of a facial localization and a review of literature.
