Spotted wilt is a plant disease caused by a virus, which results in plant stunting. Tomato spotted wilt is of “Tospo Virus”. This virus can be affected by thousands of plants. This plant disease is mainly transmitted through various species of “Thrips”. This bibliometric analysis had been conducted to understand the active authors, organizations, journals, and countries involved in the research domain of “Spotted wilt”. All published articles related to “Spotted wilt” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding the spotted wilt and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active authors are Goldbach R. and Culbreath A.K. and Peter D. is the author with the highest citations. Laboratory of Virology, Wageningen University is the organization with the highest publications, and Department of Virology, Agricultural University of Netherlands is the organization with the highest citations. Department of Plant Pathology, University of Georgia is the organization with the highest co-authorship links. The most active and productive country is the USA with the highest number of publications, citations, and co-authorship linkages. Denmark is the country with the highest average citations per publication. Plant disease is the journal with the highest number of publications and the Journal of General Virology is the journal with the highest citation and co-authorship links.
