Abstract

The last instar caterpillar of Plusia orichalcea Fabr has been studied to generalise the cepha chaetotaxy having 12 long tactile setae (A1, A2, A3; P1, P2; L1; O1, O2, O3; SO1, SO2, SO3), minute setae (V1; V2; G1) and 6 punctures (Aa; Pa; La; Oa; Va; Ga).
